Xbox 360 on The Apprentice

Did anyone watch The Apprentice Monday night? The two teams had to build an Xbox 360 Media Center within Walmart that would draw people to purchase the console.

With only five contestants left you would think we have narrowed it down to the smarties. In reality, I feel sorry for Trump who will have one of these idiots working for him.

So here is the deal. It was guys versus girls. They had one day.

The Guys: They chose to outsource their idea which was to build a circular area where inside the Xbox 360 would be featured. Too bad their outsourcing idea didn't work out. They ended up with an unprofessional ceiling-less area. However, Walmart did like the pricetags and the Xbox 360 accessory options propped inside.

The Girls: Starting with an "award-winning" idea, the team put up a black cloth all the way around their space in Walmart with one opening that was lead to by a red carpet. Anyone feeling like a celebrity? Walk down the red carpet and you enter a lounge type area with big televisions and chairs and of course the Xbox 360.

The Judges: Walmart and Xbox chose The Guys as the winners for creating an unfinished shoping environment that works for Walmart and the Xbox 360.

Who got the Boot? Tammy. The project manager for the girls team. "I want this one to be about me!"

My predictions for who will win? Allie (even though I think she is totally stuck up).

My First Blog

Hello! And Welcome to Kaila's MSN Space! This is my very first BLOG! Can you believe it? So, it is only natural that I pink an awesome hot pink color to really make a statement! Ha.

ANYWAY, I am going to introduce you to my life here so that you can get to know me a little better. It might help you understand who I am in upcoming blogs were I rant and rave :)

I was born in Oakland, California where I spent my entire Childhood. Go Oakland A's! You can't beat $1 tickets to your favorite team the year after the baseball strike.

When I was 15, my parents packed up our family and moved us to Tucson, Arizona. Apparently, the ghetto isn't the best place to be raised. My mom and dad are awesome! They have always been there for me. I have an older brother Michael (26), a younger sister Ashley (20), and a little brother Ricky (16). All are pictured below:

I stayed in Tucson for college attending the University of Arizona where I majored in Journalism and Political Science. Woo! All those math and science wizzes say I went the easy route but I would like to see them write a 15-page paper on what makes Vladimir Putin a strong President of the Russian Federation. Ha! I definately took advantage of the college lifestyle. I joined a sorority: Sigma Kappa! and just about every club on campus. I was involved in everything from the campus newspaper to Chain Gang (that might sound like some jail cell but it is really an honorary).

After college I moved to Seattle with my awesome boyfriend Mike (as seen below). He and I actually knew each other in high school but didn't fall in love until later in college. He works for Boeing... yes, one of those math smart people who said journalism was the easy way out of college.

I currently work as a contractor for Xbox.com. I edit some content and organize what goes online. I must say I have never had a real respect for video games until now. Add me to your Xbox 360 friends list! KillaKaiKai

So here I am, 24-years-old starting my very first blog. Finally! Somewhere I can write whatever I want and can at least think people read it :)

Thanks for reading!!
